"I have been an Optometrist for over twenty years. In the very early years of my professional career I was fortunate to cross paths with Brian. We met just at the time when I was in the process of setting up a new practice, and simultaneously negotiating to purchase an existing practice. In my training at the University of Waterloo the course curriculum, although excellent in all other respects, was devoid of practice management topics. Little or no information was received in the areas of banking, accounting, insurance, or money management. It was at this juncture that Brian came on the scene.
